Designed by Mont Blanc for optimal compatibility, the steel adapter kit allows you to mount the Crest ski rack (Item 728162) and the Ridge ski rack (Item 728152) onto steel roof bars. It replaces the standard mounting system intended for aluminium roof bars and ensures reliable tightening and long‑lasting stability during your journeys to the mountains. All recommendations from the user manuals remain applicable once the adapter is installed (tightening check after ~20 km and compliance with the maximum speed of 120 km/h).
